We recently spoke with the permitting office at Estes Park and we have initial approval for a late summer race.
Unless something unforeseen happens, the inaugural date for the Rocky Mountain Half will be August 24th, 2013. This is the perfect time for an end of summer vacation and training run to get you ready for  a fall marathon. August is an amazing time to visit Rocky Mountain National Park.
We will finalize the course over the next month or so and will open registration at the beginning of March.
