Dear Runners,
Thank you!
In the first year of every new race we launch, we always try to seek out friends. Whether its local government officials who can help us penetrate the local bureaucracy, hotels and restaurants willing to offer discounts to our runners, race staff and volunteers who are willing to get up at 3:00am to get things setup, or even runners willing to take a gamble on a new race.
We want to thank everyone who helped make this race succeed. We are grateful to the City of Estes Park who allowed us to use many of their resources to hold the race. Thank you to the Stanley Hotel for being our race host, KOA for being our official campground, and Marys Lake Lodge who signed up to be our pre-race dinner host.
We also wanted to thank Terry Chiplin, Ruby Bode and Kia Ruiz. These three are local runners who helped us develop plans and execute the race yesterday.
We had some great vendors at the expo including Caveman Foods(weren’t those bars delicious?), Bani Bands(super cute!), BMC Chiropractic, and SkiPix.
Last, but certainly not least, to our race staff and volunteers, thank you so much for your help.
We look forward to making this race bigger and better. We’ll be sending out a post race survey in a few days and we would love your participation. We take customer feedback very seriously, and will look to your feedback to help us improve.
Thank you again to everyone who helped make this race successful. I hope everyone is able to enjoy beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park this weekend.
Sincerely,
Salem Stanley
