Here is the deal, we are waiting on final course approval. As part of that approval, we have made a request to increase our runner cap by another 500 runners! That’s right, we are planning to open up another 500 registration spots! Great news for all those of you who planned on registering but didn’t get a chance before it sold out. Now, before you get too excited, read the following very carefully.
We will re-open registration on November 11th with a 500 person cap. This does not guarantee a spot since we are still waiting for final approval. But as soon as we get approval, you will automatically be registered for the race. You will also be first in line if someone else drops out. Here is how we will do it – you will register for the race just like you normally would. You will be charged and everything. However, if for some reason we don’t get approval, you will be refunded all of your money. Make sense?

The first 24 hours will only be open to team registration. We know many people were creating teams but registration sold out before you could fill them. So for the first 24 hours registration will only be open to team registrations to allow everyone to complete their teams. You will also be able to create new teams. After that it will be open to everyone until the 500 spots are full. On November 12th at 8:00 AM MST registration for the waiting list will be open to everyone.
With how fast we sold out our first 1,500 and the current demand, we expect these 500 to sell out fast. We hope to get approval and we hope this helps the many of you that were caught by surprise with how fast this race sold out.
Remember, registering for this waiting list only guarantees you a spot if we get approval. If we don’t, you will be refunded your money. If for some reason we only get approval for 250 (or some other number) then the spots will be filled in order that you registered for the waiting list.
