At our races in 2013 we learned that while everyone seemed to love the cup-free nature of our events (super clean courses, etc) the Hydrapouches tended to get mixed reviews. While some loved it, others definitely did not.

The Isomeric Race 20 oz handheld is designed with just a simple (and comfortable) strap that will help get you across the finish line on race day. The price is normally $20 but you can get it for only $10 until the end of the month.
The Isomeric Pocket 20 oz handheld is designed with a pocket that can hold valuables(keys, ID, etc) so you can always have what you need. Normally $30, you can get the Pocket for only $15 until the end of the month.

Because the Hydrapouch is made to be used with the high-speed dispenser valve, we do not ship them out early. This can cause issues for those who want to train with their hydration system. We will ship your Ultraspire handheld out right away so you can train with it in the weeks leading up to the race.

The biggest complaint we get about the Hydrapouch is the clip on the back can be finicky for some. The Ultraspire is much easier to carry while running. Once you use it, you won’t go back to anything else.
If you decide to buy an Ultraspire for the race (which we recommend), we will not order a Hydrapouch for you.
