There are a lot of things that need to happen to pull off a race and we need volunteers to help. We don’t expect any of our runners to also volunteer their time.
But if you do feel so inclined, we offer great incentives to volunteers:

So even if you’re running the race, there are plenty of things you could sign up to help with on Friday (the day before the race). If you’re not available to volunteer but maybe are traveling with friends and family who are there to cheer you on it would be great if they could volunteer and help out. We love and appreciate our volunteers. We couldn’t do it without them!
We need about 80 volunteers in total, covering jobs on Friday AND Saturday. These jobs range from food prep at the finish line to handing out bibs at the expo. We tend to break them up into manageable shifts so you can pick what works best with your schedule. We have job descriptions on the signup sheet.
