If you know anything about us, you know we’re huge fans of our country’s national parks. Our events are all about getting people to the parks and our race policies are big on preserving the land. We want to give you, our runners, the opportunity to show your appreciation as well.
This year, when you register for the Lake Powell Half Marathon, we give you the opportunity to donate extra cash to the park. Vacation Races will pay for all the processing fees and administrative costs, so that means 100% of your donation will benefit Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. If you’d like to donate more, there will be an option for you to donate as much as you’d like. Any donations of $50 or more will receive a special gift at the race. This is voluntary of course, but we hope you’ll help us give back to this awesome park!
