We are sold out for our 2017 race! There will be no wait list, but you still have some options to get into the race. We have Charity Bibs still available for this race, which you can learn more about here. To register with a Charity Bib, you will need to commit to raising $1000 for the National Park Foundation.
If that doesn’t interest you, you can try to buy someone’s bib who has already registered and can no longer attend. We recommend looking on Facebook and in the Yosemite Half Marathon event page for people looking to sell. Right now, it may be difficult to find sellers. There is usually a major increase in sellers as we get closer to race weekend. The refund period for this race ends on March 4th, so start checking then if you can’t find someone right away. Please be sure to use the transfer process if you purchase a bib.
Why no wait list? We have a very generous refund, transfer, and deferment policy. We oversell registration to ensure that as many runners as possible can run the race. This also keeps us from trying to fill spots last minute. We count on cancellations to meet our permit numbers.
Good luck! If we don’t get to see you in 2017, hopefully we’ll see you in 2018!
Backpackers beginning a wilderness trip outside Yosemite should apply for Half Dome day hiker permits using the information on this page. Backpackers—including those who want to spend the night in Little Yosemite Valley—should apply for Half Dome permits with their wilderness permit rather than using the process described below.
Interested in a purchasing a bib
Give me some info on a charity bib. What do you require. I’m a veteran with a diability & live 5 miles from Bass Lake. Thanks!
I want to run under the charity plan. I can’t find a place to register. Can you help me.?
If we get a bib transferred from someone else will the ticket price be the amount they paid for or the current price value?
I’m looking to register for the race if anyone can’t make it and needs to sell their registration. Please let me know. You can contact me at wadebarnett1@yahoo.com.
Thanks,
Wade
