Each year, we reserve these special charity bibs for people looking to help fundraise for the parks. Please note that registering for a charity bib is a serious commitment.
To register with a charity bib you will need to raise $1000 or more (see donation goals for the multi-race bibs below). 100% of the money raised will go to a charity that benefits each individual park! Once you sign up for the charity bib, you’re committed to raising all of the agreed upon total, so please do not take this lightly.
Charity Bib Donation Amounts
Half Marathon | Double (Half Marathon + 5K) | Double (2 Half Marathons) | Triple (2 Half Marathons + 5K) |
---|---|---|---|
$1000 | $1250 | $1500 | $2000 |
How it works:
First, you’ll register for a charity bib– just select the “charity bib” option under the "choose your event" section when you register for the race. Once you have completed registration you are on the hook to raise at least the agreed upon donation. You have until the week of the race to get donations from friends and family. You’ll be provided a link to send anyone where they can donate and contribute to your fundraiser. By race week, if you haven't raised the full amount, we will send an invoice for the remaining amount and it will need to be paid prior to picking up your bib. So, for example, if you sign up for a half marathon charity bib and you raise $900 by race day, you will be sent an invoice for $100. If you raise exactly or more than the goal, you will not be sent an invoice.
We’re excited about this opportunity to raise additional money for the National Park Foundation and to do some more good for the parks!
