WHY RUN BG.webp

Reasons to run

GRAND TETON

There’s a moment when the expanse of Grand Teton comes into full view and it feels like the entire landscape inhales at once. Those peaks rise straight from the valley with a confidence that borders on arrogant — sharp, iconic, impossible to ignore. And somehow that boldness feels energizing rather than overwhelming.

Being here creates its own momentum. The air is crisp, the valley stretches wide, and everything inside you feels a little more awake, a little more alive. Every step brings a new angle, a new hit of scale, a new reminder that this place is bigger than anything happening in your head.

"This race (both the 5k and half marathon) were absolutely beautiful! It was an adjustment running at altitude, but I would definitely run this race again. There were plenty of aid stations, spectacular views, and nice swag. Can’t recommend this race enough!”
